Susanne Darius

Born in Montreal, Quebec, to a draftsman and oil painter, Sue's artistic journey began early. A pivotal moment was viewing a solo exhibition by realist artist, Trechikoff, at age 10. She then began drawing faces and eventually painting portraits, selling her first at 19. Her most recent artistic engagement has been with the mix of oil paints and cold wax, allowing for experimentation with texture not possible in other mediums.
